Made with strong espresso coffee, this Italian dessert translates as ‘pick-me-up’. I made this one using Antonio Carluccio’s recipe which you’ll find here. The only thing I did differently was that I dipped the savoiardi biscuits for longer than the suggested few seconds (they were nearly falling apart) and the result was deliciously moist.
